  • MANCHESTER UNITED VS. CLUB AMÉRICA, Tonight, Thursday, July 19, University of Phoenix Stadium, in conjunction with Relevent Sports, a match between Mexico’s Club America and Manchester United F.C. The match is part of the English powerhouse’s visit to the United States for their 2018 summer tour.
  • AMERICAN IDOL LIVE, Next Tuesday, the 24th, at the Mesa Arts Center, American Idol is back on tour. American Idol: Live! 2018 is coming to Phoenix,  featuring your Top 7 LIVE on stage. Dancers include Cade, Caleb, Catie, Gabby, Jurnee, Maddie and Michael plus special guest, Season 8 American Idol Winner, Kris Allen- bringing your favorite television competition directly to you in performances you cannot miss.

  • OPERA AND GELATO FILM FESTIVAL: ROSSINI’S CINDERELLA, The Arizona Opera is proud to present the 2nd annual summer Opera and Gelato Film Festival. Join them for a family, kid-friendly presentation of Rossini’s Cinderella. Direct from San Francisco Opera, this hour-long adaptation of the classic fairytale is perfect for first-time opera goers. Enjoy FROST Gelato and refreshments for purchase. This event is for kids!
  • #DiscoverChandler Scavenger Hunt, Saturday,the 21st, We’re challenging you to #DiscoverChandler. Find the best sights and hidden recreation gems in Chandler! Armed with your smartphone, locate hotspots, unlock challengers and climb the scoreboard for a chance to win the ultimate parks & recreation prize – valued at $2,500! 8 am – noon. You have to be registered and pick up your packets at Chandler City Hall the days leading up to it.
  • The Little Mermaid, at Theatre Works in Peoria , AZ. It’s running now and this Sunday, the 22nd, is the last showing before it leaves Arizona.



  • WURST FESTIVAL EVER, This Saturday, the 21st, Short Leash Hot Dogs presents The Wurst Festival Ever, and invites you to come help crown the “wurst wiener” (and by wurst, they mean the best). You’ll also laugh your buns off with performances from Torch Theatre, “meat” local chefs, and maybe even “mustard up” the courage to enter a pun competition. It will be a hot dog of a day but that’s what makes a cold beer taste so good, right?
  • 21st Annual Arizona Highland Celtic Festival, Saturday and Sunday (21st – 22nd), in Flagstaff at the Foxglenn Park. Celebrating all things Celtic, music, piping, athletics, whiskey tasting, educational workshops, vendors, historical reenactment, clans and societies and a kids area. $20 or $30/2-day.
